din loguri se vede ca de la 5:33 la 12:29 a stat pe loc cumva... mam uitat si procesul grub ocupa 100% procesoru, apoi lam omorat si instaleru a scris exceptiile alea

Nu folosi installerul grafic si in nici un, NICI UN, NICI UN caz nu folosi -msse3.

acelasi lucru ti-l zic si eu. Nu folosi installerul grafic,e de cacao. Fa un seach pe forum pt ca am postat eu niste linkuri interesante pentru gentoo.

nam timpul si nici banda necesara...
iar pana iau un SabayonDVD dureaza 12000 de ani

carei faza cu -msse3? (mam uitat aici)

Strica binarele si le face mai incete decat default oricum. -O2 -march=<ceva> -pipe e destul, restul e vax.

N-am inteles totusi care e problema aia cu gentoo. Ai 256kbps? Ajunge. Ai cel putin 1.5GHz sa compilezi? Ai.

problema e ca la ~60kb/s o sa dureze foarte mult timp numa downloadatul
apoi tre timp sa fiu in fata lui sa vad ce mai vrea...si in cazul in care nu face asta in 2 ore pe zi doar....nu cre ca se poate

de acord. problema se pune cand termina de compilat si cine shtie ce ma mai intreaba, (parca configurarea se facea pe parcurs si nu la inceput ca la instaleru grafic.....corecteazama daca spun prostii)...degeaba il las pornit si plec, compileaza doua ore, apoi ashtepta ceva de la mine inca 14 ore pana cand revin io in fata lui

mar interesa sa configurez cei trebuie aku, apoi sai dau run, sa compileze el cat vrea si ce vrea/u la modul nesupravegheat.... se poate?

ideea mea era, si observai daca citeai ceam scris pana acu, sa vad cei cu Gentoo... asa pot pune FC6/openSUSE10.2/Mandriva2007.0/SLED10/BW64 in 15minute, dar pe ele leam vazut deja

Licaon, instalare clasică + Knoppix/Slax/.../LiveCD, sau sistem instalat pe HDD + chroot. Eu îmi făceam treaba în Ubuntu, în timp ce pe cealaltă partiţie se compila Gentoo, cu nice 19.
