Hai să postăm fiecare câte o comandă UNIX interesantă, dar mai necunoscută. (şi preferabil cât mai inutilă )
Încep eu:
Comanda yes(1), care e inclusă în coreutils scrie un string în mod repetat până îi dai kill, adică cam aşa:

ATENTIE! Nu folosiți comenzile de aici decât dacă înțelegeți exact ce fac și la ce risc vă expuneți. Unele dintre ele vă pot compromite sistemul.

dd(1), nu e necunoscuta si in nici un caz inutila dar e preferata mea . Ar mai fi comanda say(1) din Mac OS X care iti vorbeste.
